Ireland Baby !!

This has been the craziest couple days of my life! The flight was fine...well for a 10 hour flight! I am still trying to find my time bearings. It is now almost 11am already on the 13th. Time flies when you do..hehe.

Ireland is a far more international city than I would have guessed. More people seem to be speaking anything but English which is both very interesting and some what scary. It truly is a totally different world then the states.

I have not had much time to do anything yet. Basically I spent all of yesterday drinking Guinness with some newly found friends at a couple of really interesting bars in the Temple Bar area. I figured I would try to stay up as long as possible in order to better my bodies feeling towards the time change. I think it worked fairly well. Its the snoring the the hostels that kept me up all night!

Well I'm off for my first full day of exploring. Time to see some of the sights!

All right, you made it! I was trying to figure out the time change on when you would arrive but since it's higher math, I couldn't quite do it. Did your beer drinking friends speak English or did you use sign language? Thanks for keeping us posted. Your sis, Denise

So, how was it? Did you have fun? By the time you get this comment you will have experienced your first night out on the town.....Hope you had fun. It is awsome to know that you are having so much fun. The time change I believe is 8 hrs ahead of us correct? Do lots of people speak English?
keep us posted,
Martha

How is the weather & the food? Ed says you never get used to the snoring at the hostels he has firsthand experience, well sort of... Mom says she is glad you know what real beer is. Joseph says it is a good thing you are giving all your older siblings history lessons. I guess I can't say don't talk to strangers. Be careful.. love you & have fun...

well...there is an international sign for drinking ;) so that's easy...I mean I use it with half my family ;) hehe. I speak enough french to get me by with my french friends...and my Italian friends can speak English better than I can ;). The accents on the people that speak English as a first language here get very think at times...but a Guinness cures that ;).

I have explored a ton. Dublin was great...too large of a city for me though. The time difference is indeed 8 hours for Ireland and the UK but 9 for the main land.

Well the snoring does suck..but the paper thin walls suck even more...lol. Oh and not only will I be able to teach you history...but French too...and maybe Italian and German too...lol!!! The weather in Dublin was good....cloudy but good...on the west though today and tomorrow it will be rainy :(.
