when your in towns that are literally at the end of the world. Plus
time is money and so I can not stay online all day and write like I
had hoped.
So what have I been up to...
Crazy Times! Three days ago I hiked the Cliffs of Mohr! Literally..I
hiked the edge of the cliffs for miles. It was amazing. Sometimes,
only feet from the edge, you feel so alive. Then yesterday a man who
is the help at the hostel I was staying at gave me a ride into Galway.
I know you all do not know what the roads are like here but just
imagine the smallest possible road for two cars to barely pass each
other and then get rid of the shoulders and add curves every 100 feet
or so. This is what the roads are like...esp in the Burren. Well Karl
liked to drive fast...very fast! I wont say how fast because I'm sure
my mother will read this but it was fast! That was fun..plus I learned
a ton from him on the drive and saved money which is always good.
Today I spent the day in Clifden hiking the hills outside
town....found and old man who became my tour guide to the land. We
walled to an old ruined castle and then up the hills. It was very
surreal!
Well I have to get going again...just wanted to let everyone know that
things are great and that I am doing fine.

David!!!! Happy to hear you are still alive even after that car ride with Carl…teehee. Sounds like you are having a wonderful time…how awesome you got a tour from one of the older locals. How has the traveling been from town to town?
is galway like gateway to the other side of the field whatever at least you are having fun love u mioss u your bro
So, let me get this straight. These men helped you not wanting anything at all in return? That sure isn't like LA, or Spokane. Remember Michael, when that gas station owner guy gave you a ride!!!! I close my eyes and try to imagine the landscape that is beneath your feet. Trying to remember what it is like to feel alive. Those moments are fleeting back here in the real world... I must admit though, I am very content right now to live vicariously through you-that is why we all wait breathlessly for your updates. Thanks for the look at the other side of the world.
By the way, we could use some pictures... I am sick of looking at that Ed looking baby all the time.....If you need money to upload the pictures, Mike will give you his credit card number!
Whatever Mrs. Miagi from Karate Kid...David, mom said you should not of gone on those cliffs they are the tallest in the world! I am terrified of heights. I hyperventalate driving through Vantage on the Freeway. We enjoy following all of your travels it is very exciting. We do worry about your every step though. Please be careful. Ireland sounds like a beautiful place. Have you learned how to clog yet. Michael Flatley watch out! I can just see you at the corner pub with the Italians & the french guys holding a pint clogging. I wish I was there with you... Joseph wanted me to tell you that when you go to Germany & look up his cousin Wolfgang Ficher you dial 049 first & his e-mail address is all underlined. Mom & Joseph like hearing about where you are because they have been to those places you are at. Everyone else has to use there imagination. I hate to use David's web page as a sounding board but this is a good way to communicate to siblings. None of own pen & paper. I wanted everyone to know that Peggy Louthian 's cancer came back & on Friday she had her left eye removed. She had a tumor behind it & the eye could not be saved...Love you David chat with you later
Chris says to get your red neck mind straight. Mrs. Miagi was Japanese, he is Chinese and I am "look at these".
Tell Peggy that my thoughts are with her. I am so sorry..........
You guys are too funny!!! As Colleen sais we use Davids blog to keep in touch. You guys are too much.
David: sounds like you are doing alot of sight seeing and having a blast. I guess this is what you went to Europe for. Enjoy it while you can. Be safe and be careful.

Where the heck is David? I hope you are not ignoring us since your siblings figured out how to spend their spare time talking to each other. Maybe you can't find a internet connection... Hey you guys are terrible! I joked with Peggy before the surgery about being a pirate for Halloween, but today she is not doing good. She is still in the hospital she got a terrible infection & they had to take out the staples on her face & literally squeeze the infection out to try & drain it. She was & is in a lot of pain. She has to have radiation also. She looked in the mirror for the first time & she said she is so ugly & she is terribly upset. They took skin from her forearm & theigh to cover her eye. She is at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle. My e-mail address is ColleenDavis2006@comcast.net...
