Le Mont Saint-Michel et Saint-Malo et Bretagne

Traveling through Bretagne has been amazing. Its very much like Ireland and yet totally different. The people have similar traditions and similar music. But they are French...there is no doubt about that! Yesterday I saw Le Mont Saint-Michel ! That was amazing! It is such an iconic sight. I actually walked the path that millions of pilgrims have walked before me. It was so amazing beautiful! Misty in the morning with blue sky by the afternoon. It is amazing that they can create buildings like the ones crowning the mount. The day before that I saw Saint-Malo which is also very beautiful but more touristy in my opinion.

Oh well..just wanted to let everyone know I was ok..and some of the sights I have been seeing.

History is so interesting! Trey's football team made it to the championship game and will play on Saturday morning! He loves his uncle David! Lots of Love - PS are you going to celebrate Thanksgiving??? Kind of funny, huh? Oh well, Dad, Denise and I will eat some turkey for you!

David, I looked up douche it has something to do with hygeine, right! How is Italy? The country that is shaped like a boot. I can't wait to see the pictures & hear of your adventures. Have you seen much snow? The ski areas opened up here. We went to mom's for Thanksgiving, Mom's Turkey dinner beats any competition. The rest of you missed out. We had a very relaxed time. We all had a chance to express why we are thankful, even the grandkids. Our answeres: family and our health. It is obvious to all that strong family ties are very important. With out it we have nothing. Last week we had the pleasure of Gaga & Terry visiting us. We had a wonderful time, but too short. Gaga's first time seeing Riley, I am so happy that he got to hold him and spend time with him, I will always cherish that in my heart. Caleb wrote a story about Gaga in school that I shared with Gaga. He had alot of tears & joy. I will share it with all of you...I woke up at 7:30am at my great grandpa's house I heard a TV so I walked downstairs to see who it was my greatgrandpa was watching TV. I asked him what he was watching he said golf. Then I asked if he could tell me a story, he said yes. He told me he was going to tell me about when he was a pilot. He started to teach pilots how to fly a plane. Then he got a call from the U.S. Airforce to fly a bomer plane in world war 2. He was scared but said he would do it. He started flying and went to Germany and somewhere else. He said it was really scary. Then he huged me and said thank you for listening. I was happy he made it through the war. Then I asked if he could tell me another story. It touched Gaga's heart & everyone else. Terry & Gaga went to St. Maries, they visited friends & went to Puckie's grave site. Those of you who didn't go to her funeral don't know that her tombstone was not finished with the dates. It still isn't, almost a year later. Gaga said the company went bankrupt & did not finish so they had to go take care of that. Thank you Terry for bringing Gaga up here to Spokane, we had a wonderful time. By the way Michael, did you move from Alaska to LA? Maybe your sisters & your dad did not know that you moved & that is why you did not receive an invitation. Oh wait a minute, we had another brother living down there who also was not invited(to other gatherings) so don't feel like you were the only one left out. I love you & my door is always open for you. If you can't vent to family who can you vent to. It is ok I understand your frustration and I do know that our brother David totally understands what you are going through. I do think that if you are going to leave famly members out of your family gatherings you should know that there are consequences that you will have to face, like hurting each others feelings & taking the first step & recognizing that you have hurt them. If you have a problem with your sibling being at your house or you just don't have room be kind & tell us so we don't feel left out. It is the courteous thing to do. Happy Thanksgiving & Merry Christmas & Happy New Year I love you all...
